Structural Steel and Bridge coating Epo-Mastic
DTO has the unique advantage of
being able to adhere to surfaces
contaminated with oils, rust or old
coatings. Both Chemline and Steelcote's industrial steel coatings leave a durable and lustrous finish that can withstand harsh environmental and industrial conditions.

is a
high-solids,
acrylic
polyurethane
protective
coating (1:3.5
ratio by
volume). This
product is
self-priming and
is applied
directly to a
surface prepared
substrate in a
one-coat
application.
This coating
offers a unique
balance of long
pot life and
fast cure.
Applied films
will demonstrate
good cure
profiles even in
low
temperatures.
This coating
exhibits
excellent
hardness, direct
to metal
adhesion,
chemical
resistance, and
color retention.
Cured films that
are between 5-6
mils in
thickness (dft)
are free of
pores and will
provide
permanent and
fully effective
corrosion
protection for
many years.
For aggressive
environments
such as marine,
we recommend
priming with
CHEMPRIME 3000.

Chemthane 3300

CHEMTHANE 3300 is a
high-solids, voc
conforming finish coat
that consists of a
pigmented acrylic enamel
and a polyisocyanate
hardener. This product
cures to form an
extremely durable finish
having outstanding gloss
and color retention.
Cured films have
excellent resistance to
acids, alkalis, humidity
and salts. This product
should be applied
directly over one of our
epoxy or moisture cure
urethane primers.

Epo-Mastic DTO (Direct-to-Oil)
|
Epo-Mastic DTO is a specially formulated surface tolerant epoxy coating designed for applications to substrates that have been contaminated with vegetable or motor oil, grease or tar. Its anti-corrosive application works extremely well on new concrete, masonry and steel surfaces or marginally prepared rusted surfaces, and existing coatings. Epo-Mastic DTO can be used as a primer/finish or can be topcoated when cured. The high build formula allows the coating to form a thick barrier that blocks "stain through" of oil, tar or asphalt and meets all VOC regulations.
